Make your dream career a reality.
Ready to stop just thinking about your dream job and to take action? At First American, we’ve worked hard to make your path to a fulfilling career with us relatively simple. You can search for positions by location, talent area and keyword.
Once you’ve explored our current openings and completed your online profile, a member of our talent acquisition team will review your information. If we have an opportunity that matches your skills and experience, we’ll contact you to continue the hiring process. We encourage you to apply for each position in which you have an interest and a passion.
Is there anything I should do before applying?
Before starting the application process, make sure you have an electronic copy of your résumé/CV.
What if I forget my password?
Select the “forgot password” function on the log-in portion of your application or profile. We’ll send you an email with instructions right away.
What happens after I apply?
If you’ve applied for a specific job, the hiring manager or a recruiter will review your application and may contact you if they are interested in moving forward. You will receive a confirmation notice after clicking your submission letting you know that your application was received successfully.
How can I get in touch with a hiring manager or recruiter?
Actually, you don’t need to follow up. If you’ve applied for a job online or submitted your profile, we’ll review your application and get in touch if there’s a good match.
How do I update my profile information?
Just log in to your account and go to the personal information section. Please don’t create multiple log-in accounts—it could delay your consideration for the perfect job!
What if I try to apply but get an error message?
Contact the Human Resources Service Center at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What if I was referred by a First American employee?
When completing your profile be sure to indicate “Employee Referral” in the “How did you hear about us” section.
As part of the recruiting process, First American runs background checks, which might include drug tests on final candidates.
