Job Summary

Develops and retains a quality commercial client base with large corporations with significant real estate holdings nationally in a variety of capacities through the acquisition of new business and maintenance of existing customers. Sales Representatives interfaces with division management and legal counsel on complex real estate transactions. Sales representatives have an ongoing responsibility for maintaining the customer relationship and servicing the customer's needs throughout the entire transaction and follow-up for future business process.

Essential Functions

  • Builds client relationships, secures new orders from new customers, and maintains and expands business with existing client base
  • Communicates proactively with and responds in a timely manner to clients
  • Compiles and maintains a pipeline of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from referrals, newspapers, business directories, internal business intelligence, industry events, online research, and other sources

  • Develops and executes a sales strategy for the area assigned to include calls to and appointments with qualified corporate real estate departments, brokers, commercial lenders and law firms

  • Assesses individual client needs and develops, presents and implements a plan to meet those needs using our core and ancillary products and services

  • Is highly visible in his/her marketing area by attending real estate industry functions and participating in community and real estate related events
  • Effectively creates or adapts and delivers group and individual presentations to customer groups, target customers, cooperating agents and others

  • Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and operations staff
  • Ability to adapt to new technology and function as part of a team


Typical Education

  • College Degree


Typical Range of Experience

  • 2- 5 years of successful business to business sales in an industry with long and complex sales process. Commercial Title/Real estate industry experience a plus

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals


License or Certification

  • Requires a valid driver’s license.
