Job Summary

Do you want to be a part of a highly skilled and experienced team, building the next generation of title products? Are you enthusiastic and want to foster a great team culture? If so, then this is the position for you!

The SMS NextGen team is seeking a Scrum Master (SM) who is a hands-on expert in the agile delivery of modern software solutions.   You will coach our delivery teams in their use of scrum and help increase their understanding of agile principles.  This influential role will take our product development practices to the next level and champion a culture of continual improvement. You will serve as the servant leader for multiple delivery teams, ensuring clear communication to help each achieve their business objectives while preserving flexibility to rapidly adapt to changes within the team.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and oversee core agile ceremonies including stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Guide and coach the scrum team on the use of agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services
  • Educate the delivery team to understand the need for clear and concise product backlogs
  • Foster a productive and collaborative environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it
  • Understand conflicts and remove impediments to optimize the team’s efficiency
  • Identify areas of opportunity using metrics and team feedback to continuously improve their delivery

About You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, or significant domain expertise
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a scrum Master
  • 5+ years’ experience as part of an agile team
  • Certification in any of the following are required: CSM,  PSM, or SSM
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Establish a data-driven culture and a repeatable, structured, and disciplined approach to the agile process
  • Strong management of dependencies between team capacity, prioritization, software quality, and committed deadlines
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO), or other agile tools to measure team productivity and report sprint metrics
