What you will do:
Advocate DevOps culture, tooling, delivery methods, and cultural practices
Plan, Develop and Implement complex automation tasks and cloud architecture with a focus on microservices
Build solutions that solve complex problems, scalability, guarantee performance and enable breakthrough innovations
Develop solutions in the areas of CI/CD processes, Infrastructure as Code, Automation or Application Observability using Open Source and AWS tools and services
Assist with estimating work efforts required for each phase of an agile project
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to peers and less experienced engineers
Identify and raise technical risks and issues
Research and stay current in AWS, technology, associated vendor products, and their interdependencies
Your qualifications:
3+ years of progressively responsible software engineering and DevOps experience building end-to-end cloud native CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps, AWS CodeDeploy or other tools.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
2+ years of experience in Configuration Management using Chef, Puppet, Ansible or other tools in a production environment
Hands-on experience with microservice and distributed application architecture such as containers, serverless technology and/or Kubernetes
Experience with monitoring and log aggregating frameworks such as Splunk, ElastiSearch or other tools
AWS Certification(s) such as Solutions Architect Pro, DevOps Engineer Pro, SysOps Admin, Developer Associate.
Demonstrated growth mentality, enthusiasm about learning new technologies quickly and applying the gained knowledge to address practical business problems
Ability to communicate with team members and partners to work through technical solutions
