What We Do

First American is reinventing the commercial title industry from within. We’re looking for a unique, ambitious individual who wants to join an early-stage, high-growth operation within a larger, Fortune 500 organization. You will be rolling up your sleeves to help service our quickly growing list of customers. We utilize a new, end-to-end title operations process for servicing our customers. Simultaneously, you’ll collaboratively identify product and technical opportunities to enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency of our new process. You will be an integral part in testing and iterating on these processes while assisting commercial, national title transactions.

As a Transaction Assistant, you will:

  • Support commercial real estate transactions from open to post-closing.
  • Coordinate and oversee shared team communications via multiple platforms.
  • Plan and problem solve for issues raised by clients and by team members.
  • Ensure that all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirement.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, transaction management, and other team members to deliver superior customer service.
  • Ensure customers are getting answers and transaction-related tasks are reaching completion.
  • Work on a remote team using technology and virtual communication.
  • Use data to drive decision making and continual process improvements.

Your qualifications:

  • Has closed or assisted with commercial real estate transactions from start to finish.
  • Ability to organize, analyze and track progress on multiple project files concurrently.
  • Regional or national commercial title experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks while prioritizing deadlines.
  • History of delivering exceptional customer experience.
  • Has a successful history of managing and serving customers.
  • Strong competency handling transaction documents.

Pay Range: $24.04 - $33.08 Hourly

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.  Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
