What We Do

First American’s Internship Program is a full-time, 10–12 week paid internship from June – August 2025 which can be worked from an office or remotely, depending on the job opportunity. As a First American Intern you will work in a program designed to help you gain experience and develop the technical, professional and interpersonal skills that will be invaluable throughout your career. As a First American Intern you will gain exposure to working in a corporate environment within the Financial/Title Industry – balanced with intern-specific activities, executive level presentations and networking opportunities – while under the guidance of a manager and/or mentor. Undergraduate students are assigned significant work assignments to support specific business functions including Marketing, Human Resources, Technology, Accounting and Finance.


Are you a motivated individual looking to gain hands-on experience in business process analysis? Join our dynamic team as a business analyst intern and play a crucial role in two key initiatives aimed at optimizing processes and reducing bureaucracy. You'll have the opportunity to conduct an in-depth review of our current state and wrap up your internship with a formal report detailing your findings and proposed solutions.

Objectives of the Role:

  • Assist the Strategic Initiatives and Delivery team in optimizing the Global Front End Process, overseeing the movement and closure of cost centers.
  • Lead the documentation and streamlining of system administration for an application that facilitates electronic recordation of documents.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the team by ensuring efficient and consistent processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate meetings to document core team process flows using Vizio.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for critical process steps.
  • Work with the team to identify gaps and propose solutions to enhance efficiency, tracking, and consistency.
  • Present findings and propose solutions to executive leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Detail-oriented and a team player.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated capability to work autonomously and manage tasks without supervision

Typical Education


College/University students enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with 3 months - 2 years of work experience.
