Researches and underwrites Title Policies, primarily for commercial transactions, in accordance with internal and external policies and regulations, for properties located in the State of CaliforniaHOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE
- Responsible for reviewing title searches primarily for commercial transactions for residential development.
- Researches exceptions to title that can be eliminated following underwriting guidelines
- Properly prices policies and endorsements, using appropriate schedule of fees and charges
- Familiar with all aspects of title work
- Utilizes technical bulletins in order to evaluate and resolve problems
- Participates in business development activities to maintain existing clients and acquire new clients
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- 5 plus years title/related real estate experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with company operating systems and knowledge of Microsoft Office. Datatrace experience preferred.
- Must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to research independently as needed
- Must be able to keep up in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to manage and balance multiple projects
- Detail / quality orientation

- Strong problem solving skills
