What We Do

The Business Analyst supports Treasury and Funding Operations within a warehouse lending and mortgage environment. This role is responsible for managing daily funding/cash processes, reconciling financial data, and analyzing lender and treasury transactions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can identify problems, design and implement solutions, and drive operational efficiency within the department. This position requires strong analytical skills, independent decision-making, and the ability to document and improve financial and business processes across Treasury Operations.

What You'll Do

  • Process and reconcile cash accounts, funding source accounts, and wire transactions.
  • Manage ACH testing, bank account closures, positive pay exceptions, and invoice processing.
  • Monitor treasury inbox, review payments, and validate transfers.
  • Conduct deficit collections monitoring, and ACH returns/overdraft reviews.
  • Track and reconcile aged advances, haircut transfers, and funding account wires.
  • Oversee daily lender MOR reconciliation, ensuring accounts align with internal records.
  • Generate and review deficit and EOD reports, maintaining funding accuracy.
  • Provide support with related variance analyses.
  • Provide support with liquidity tracking and customer fund availability reports.
  • Support weekly tracking of advances vs. bank purchase registers and funding reconciliation.
  • Document and refine business processes, procedures, and reporting standards.
  • Identify and recommend process efficiencies and automation opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for management.
  • Collaborate with peers to test, implement, and improve financial workflows.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field – or equivalent professional experience in warehouse lending, treasury, or mortgage operations.
  • 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, funding operations, or treasury management.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in managing financial data.
  • Initiative in improving processes and identifying risks.
  • Ability to manage recurring and ad hoc reporting with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptability to dynamic workloads and system changes.
  • Prior exposure to warehouse lending processes, loan funding systems, or mortgage finance workflows is highly preferred
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel and treasury/funding platforms.
  • Ability to document and improve business processes.
  • Excellent communication and cross-department collaboration.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Location: This position offers flexibility to work remotely; however, candidates based in the Dallas, TX area will follow a hybrid work model.

Salary Range: $72,125.00 - $96,125.00 Annually

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.  Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
