Define business processes and system alignment. Translate business requirements into system definitions and solutions. Strategic partner, acting as liaison between the user community and the technical applications development staff (may include offshore staff). Resolve system problems to ensure customer processes run smoothly. Document business processes, training procedures, standard operating procedures, project status, etc. Implement system alignment with business processes.What You’ll Do
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs to gather detailed business requirements.
- Create business requirement documents for dashboard requests from the operation leaders.
- Maintain and update the PowerBI reporting team’s pipeline of requests: review prioritization, notate, follow ups, etc. in DevOps.
- Document requirements for data procedures, such as SQL stored procedures, used to support BI reporting.
- Maintain log of documentation outlining the current state of BI reporting.
- Perform Quality Assurance validation of weekly deployments to deliver accurate and effective data / reporting product.
- Participates in identifying business system requirements and related business/application solutions for a specific business need.
- Gathers customer requirements for customized system solutions and provides alternative solutions.
- Writes and maintains system documentation
- Provides training and support directly to customers.
- Required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs.
- Identifies/receives problem, researches alternatives, prepares presentations, drives solutions, tests to confirm, gains consensus, and implements solutions for defined business processes.
- Creates documentation of business processes, training procedures, and standard operating procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
- 2-4 years of directly related experience.
- Good written and oral communication skills in order to define parameters to meet business requirements.
- SQL knowledge preferred
- PowerBI knowledge preferred
- DevOps experience preferred
Salary Range: $65,600 - $109,200 Annually
This hiring range is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the salary range of possible compensation at the time of the posting and is subject to change. The actual compensation offered will be determined by various factors, which may include a candidate’s education, training, experience, and geographic location.
