The Product Owner serves as the critical link between business strategy and technology delivery. Working closely with Product Managers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional delivery teams, this role ensures that business priorities are clearly translated into actionable work that delivers measurable outcomes. Unlike a Product Manager, this position is not responsible for setting product strategy or managing people — its focus is on execution, clarity, and delivery.Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Managers and business leaders to translate product vision and priorities into clear deliverables for technology teams.
- Own and maintain the team backlog, ensuring that user stories and acceptance criteria are well-defined, understood, and aligned with business value.
- Prioritize work and make day-to-day decisions that balance stakeholder needs, technical feasibility, and customer impact.
- Collaborate with development, QA, UX, and operational partners to drive sprint execution and delivery, helping the team stay focused and productive.
- Facilitate discussions and clarify requirements, ensuring that business goals are met without overreliance on formal Scrum processes or roles.
- Represent the customer and business perspective in technical discussions and design decisions.
- Support release readiness by validating that delivered functionality meets acceptance criteria and aligns with overall product goals.
- Provide ongoing feedback and insights to Product Managers and leadership regarding progress, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role supporting technology delivery.
- Strong ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
- Proven track record of collaborating effectively across business and technology teams.
- Familiarity with Agile principles and iterative delivery, but comfortable working in environments without formal Scrum structures.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills; able to balance detail with big-picture context.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
The pay range for this role is $99,675.00 - $132,875.00
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
