A Cash Management Specialist is responsible for all activities related to payment processing. Processes payments promptly and accurately and clears all exception items in a timely manner.How You'll Contribute
- Process transactions accurately and timely in accordance with departmental and investor guidelines
- Ensures exception items are identified and resolved in a timely manner
- Document the system with comments regarding disposition of work items
- Identify, research, and resolve issues
- Make recommendations for the improvement of controls and processes within the department
- Assist with internal or external audit requests
- Communicate any trends and / or problems with recommended solutions to management
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of department documentation; including, but not limited to, policies and procedures
- Other duties and tasks, as assigned
What You'll Bring
Required Education, Experience, Licensure & Certification
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience
- Financial Services Industry experience a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong PC skills and knowledge of MS Office products and company operating systems
- Analytical
- Problem-solving skills; organized
- Customer service, team and goal oriented
- Working knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of department
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Establishes effective working relationships at the work group level
