Responsible for the overall maintenance of the Vendor Panel including recruiting of new vendors. Create profiles, gather documentation, update vendor license information and communicate with vendor as necessary. Assess vendor performance to ensure industry compliance, regulatory requirements and applicable state and federal law requirements are maintained. Provide feedback/reporting of vendor findings to management.What You'll Do:
- Responsible for the overall maintenance of the Vendor Panel including recruiting of new vendors according to established guidelines, creating profiles, gathering documentation, update vendor license information and communicating with vendor as necessary.
- Establishes and maintains excellent lines of communication between company and vendors, customers and/or governmental agencies.
- Knows and understands all pertinent business requirements (procedures, schedules, business identifiers, output media, systems or database formats and relevant scheduling dates).
- Aid vendors in prioritizing their work, negotiating additional time on searches with clients.
- Contacts vendors/quality control or vendors to follow up on orders and responds to vendor inquiries and follows up to ensure they have the information needed to complete searches
- Quality control vendor pricing and exceptions. Monitor vendor performance and counsel vendors who are not performing to our standards. Assess vendor performance to ensure industry compliance, regulatory requirements and applicable state and federal law requirements are maintained. Provide feedback/reporting of vendor findings to management.
- Reports improvement opportunities when noticed and works with the management team on process updates and user acceptance testing for technical changes.
- Performs other clerical, administrative or customer/vendor-oriented projects/tasks as reasonably assigned, and all other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Vendor Relations Manager/Operations Director.
- Process vendor applications and contracts. Create and maintain vendor profiles in the Vendor Panel. Confirm vendor compliance with all state regulations.
What You'll Bring:
- Must possess thorough knowledge of company's business unit being represented.
- Negotiation skills; Able to manage a customer’s needs when negotiating with vendors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Knowledge of products, state regulations and guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage priorities and as well as effective time management.
- Customer service skills as demonstrated by the ability to effectively partner with vendors and customers.
- Residential and commercial title experience.
- Must be able to multitask between phone volume, aiding vendors, and responding to emails as well as accessing several applications for proper documentation. Detail-oriented and organized.
- Competent with Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe and the internet.
- Able to learn and apply processes and procedures.
- Able to adhere to strict deadlines and possess a keen ability to follow through, be responsive and is a team player committed to helping customers/vendors and co-workers with an emphasis on a sense of urgency.
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-3 years’ experience
Pay Range: $18.01- $30.02 Hourly
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
