What We Do

First American’s Internship Program is a full-time, 10–12 week paid internship from June – August 2025 which can be worked from an office or remotely, depending on the job opportunity. As a First American Intern you will work in a program designed to help you gain experience and develop the technical, professional, and interpersonal skills that will be invaluable throughout your career. As a First American Intern you will gain exposure to working in a corporate environment within the Financial/Title Industry – balanced with intern-specific activities, executive level presentations and networking opportunities – while under the guidance of a manager and/or mentor. Undergraduate students are assigned significant work assignments to support specific business functions including Marketing, Human Resources, Technology, Accounting and Finance. This position will be located onsite at 110 E 42nd St, 10th Floor, New York, NY You will work on various projects and assignments including: • Organizing and maintaining one of the largest online Offering Plan Libraries in New York City • Scanning and documenting donations to the Offering Plan library • Review and identify items required for post-closing documents to be resubmitted to applicable county agencies • Communicate requirements and other information to clients • Receive and send out filed documents to applicable parties on transaction • Contribute to pipeline project for Specialized Commercial Services team

What You’ll Bring

  • An interest and willingness to learn about the Mortgage, Real Estate, Financial, Title Insurance or related industries.
  • The potential to excel in the following competencies: Communication, Customer focus, Ethics & Integrity, Teamwork & Adaptability, Productivity & Initiative.
  • The ability to solve problems, be detail oriented and be conscientious about all work completed.
  • An ingrained concern for the customer and representing our Company in the best professional manner possible.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications with an emphasis on MS Excel.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.

Typical Education

  • College/University students enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with 3 months – 2 years of work experience.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00 hourly  

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.  Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
