What We Do

Prepares food to be served in the employee Cafe. Cooks meals based on established recipes and employee requests. Ensures meal quality and employee satisfaction.

What You'll Do:

• Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices.
• Assist in the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the café, kitchen, and all storage areas
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by café management.
• Portion and plate food that is served to customers.

What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• 2 years previous professional kitchen experience required
• Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
• Established verbal communication skills.
• Be able to speak, read, and understand basic cooking directions
• Physical ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to stand for the duration of each shift
• Must be able to greet and serve customers unsupervised

Pay Range: $17.68 - $23.56 Hourly

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
