First American is seeking a personable, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our Data Privacy Program as it’s Program Coordinator. In this role you will provide wide ranging support to First American’s data privacy program. The ideal candidate will have experience or an interest in data privacy. The Program Coordinator will serve as primary interface between the Data Privacy Program and supporting workstreams from across the business.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide operational and administrative support to the enterprise-wide Data Privacy Program.
- Responsible for oversight of the existing Data Privacy Program, ensuring all data privacy inquiries are responded to appropriately.
- Manage program tools, guidelines and playbooks for documenting and tracking compliance with the company's legal obligations.
- Draft policies, optimize workflows, and help develop best practices.
- Communicate program roadmaps, priorities and key status updates to stakeholders and business teams.
- Handle initial calls/inquiries from consumers, gathering confidential information, and providing excellent customer service and follow up.
- Interpret and analyze state privacy laws.
- Develop, operate and improve different modules of our privacy program that includes our internal privacy policies, procedures and processes such as data mapping.

- Manage projects from start to finish including deadline and timeline requirements.
What You’ll Bring:
- BA/BS preferred
- 1-3 years of related experience within data privacy/protection or financial services industry
- Intermediate to advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to work with key business and technology stakeholders to develop and implement solutions to ensure that appropriate data privacy standards and practices are in place.
- Strong program or project management skill set to manage concurrent initiatives.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with US, and other global privacy laws and regulations, such as CCPA/CPRA and GDPR.
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
- The Program Coordinator will need to be knowledgeable of all current state privacy laws and be willing to learn new privacy lawsAI requirements.
- Passion for Data Privacy: Enthusiastic about data privacy and capable of conducting extensive research as needed.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, adjust to changing priorities, and meet multiple deadlines.
- Ability to flourish in a challenging, fast-paced, constantly evolving environment, operate with high standards and integrity, and exhibit excellent multi-tasking skills.
- Team Collaboration: Works well with others, fostering a cooperative and productive team environment.
The pay range for this role is $24.21 p/hr. - $34.95p/hr.
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
