What We Do

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional (Director or higher) to oversee enterprise risk for Information Technology and Model Risk Management Compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with company leaders to ensure that information technology processes and systems comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role involves overseeing a robust risk management framework, as well as leading others in the identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting of model risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, assess, and report on information technology, innovation, and model risks across the organization.
  • Oversee enterprise risks and controls associated with information technology including comprehensive model risk management framework.
  • Ensure all models comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with various business leaders and department heads to ensure effective model risk management practices.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to model risk management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in information technology operations, IT compliance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to model risk management preferred.
  • Knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) systems.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong teamwork and client service skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in Power BI and and PowerQuery/M preferred.

Typical Range of Experience

  • 7-15 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry, preferably in second- or third-line risk management roles such as Information Technology, ERM, or other governance function (e.g. Compliance or Information Security), or Audit.
  • Background in the title insurance industry or real estate/escrow industry preferred.

The pay range for this role is $166,750.00 - $222,325.00

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.  Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
