What We Do

In this position, you will lead multiple small HR projects and compliance-related activities as well as provide project support on larger HR projects, partnering with various stakeholders across HR and cross-functional groups. Individually, or as part of a team, you will be responsible for project planning, change management, risk management, and issue resolution.

HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE

  • Oversees small projects or phases of a medium project
  • For larger projects, assists with project-related tasks as directed by the project manager (e.g. scheduling, meeting note prep, project documentation prep, posting materials, etc.)
  • Coordinates activities of project team, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project
  • Defines project scope and objectives to support business needs, and clarifies project roles and responsibilities
  • Facilitates status and milestone meetings with cross-functional groups
  • Prepares project-related documentation
  • Coordinates compliance-related activities, including working with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Assists with travel and logistics planning and scheduling for on-site meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure

  • Minimum 2 years of experience, working with HR, change management or managing/coordinating projects

Preferred experience and certification:

  • Experience working within a human resources team
  • Project management certification and/or change management certification

Knowledge, SKILLS, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Understanding of project management best practices and current technologies
  • Project planning skills
  • Experience facilitating meetings
  • Presentation skills
  • Experience in organizing projects and budgets
  • Knowledge of statusing and project management tools to create documents and reports
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal, relationship-building and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, respond quickly to emergent problems, and focus both on long-range projects and immediate tasks

Complexities & IMPACT

  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
  • Exercises judgment to determine appropriate action
  • Detects situations that may cause risk to the project and its completion and escalates these issues to other team members
  • Errors may cause minor project delays and/or missed project deadlines

SUPERVISION received OR EXTENDED

  • Works under general direction
  • Uses expertise of more senior level team members and leverages additional resources to confirm solution or explore customized applications as a solution
  • Assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel.
  • Provides input to and achieves set objectives
  • No responsibility for supervision of others

Pay Range: $62,700 - $83,575

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.  Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
