The Manager, Infrastructure – Enterprise Hardware Asset Management is responsible for leading the enterprise hardware asset lifecycle program, ensuring strong governance, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and cost optimization. This role manages a team of technical professionals and partners closely with Infrastructure, Security, Procurement, Finance, and Risk Management to protect enterprise assets and reduce operational and compliance risk. *We are open to remote candidates for this roleKey Responsibilities:
- Lead and administer the Enterprise Hardware Asset Management (HAM) program across the full asset lifecycle.
- Provide direct management and accountability for a team of technical professionals.
- Oversee asset procurement controls, inventory governance, deployment, transfer, disposition, maintenance, and warranty tracking.
- Ensure effective asset recovery, data security controls, and endpoint governance.
- Administer and govern hardware asset tracking platforms including ServiceNow HAM, Absolute Console, Microsoft Intune, and SCCM.
- Establish and maintain enterprise asset management processes aligned with FFIEC guidance, COBIT 2019, and internal GRC standards.
- Lead internal, external, regulatory, vendor, and licensing audit responses related to hardware assets.
- Ensure accurate inventory reporting, reconciliation, and documentation to support regulatory and financial requirements.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standard operating controls to mitigate cybersecurity, endpoint, and physical asset risk.
- Partner cross-functionally to align asset controls with enterprise risk management and financial planning.
- Define and publish KPIs related to inventory accuracy, compliance, asset recovery, risk mitigation, and cost optimization.
- Provide input to and administer cost center spending, including capital asset and purchase order decisions.
- Identify and recommend automation and tooling enhancements to improve governance and reporting maturity.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve hardware asset management process maturity.
- Conduct performance reviews, hire, and develop team members.
- Support audit, regulatory, or operational needs outside of normal business hours as required.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure or hardware asset management.
- 3-5 years of lead, supervisory, or management experience in a technical environment.
- Strong expertise in enterprise hardware asset lifecycle management.
- Experience managing enterprise-scale hardware portfolios in a regulated industry.
- Hands-on experience governing ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management, Absolute Console, Microsoft Intune reporting, and SCCM reporting.
- Strong understanding of hardware inventory controls, endpoint governance, and asset security practices.
- Experience responding to internal, external, or regulatory audits.
- Knowledge of FFIEC regulatory expectations and familiarity with COBIT 2019.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and data analysis skills.
- Demonstrated ability to design, document, and enforce standardized governance processes.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a regulated environment.
Helpful Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- ITIL certification.
- Governance, audit, or risk certifications such as CRISC, CISA, or CGEIT.
- Experience building and maturing enterprise IT Asset governance programs.
- Strong executive-level communication and presentation skills.
