What We Do

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Governance Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity, security, and effective utilization of our data assets. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data governance principles and practices, combined with strong analytical and leadership skills

What You'll Do

  • Develop data governance policies and standards to ensure data consistency, and accessibility across the organization.
  • Provide technology stakeholders advice as it relates to the data governance framework and standards to ensure their ongoing compliance with data governance policies and standards.
  • Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, including data stewardship.
  • Provide guidance and support to data stewards, data owners, and other stakeholders in implementing data governance practices.
  • Work with Data Stewards to identify and document data assets needing specific security considerations and provide oversight.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to promote data governance awareness and best practices across the organization.
  • Monitor and report on data governance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct data governance impact assessments to identify potential risks associated with data collection, processing, and sharing.
  • Provide guidance and oversight for documenting and maintaining critical data domain inventory, business metadata
  • Lead data governance initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain data standards and best practices.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure   

  • Bachelor’s degree in information management, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related role, preferably within the financial services or real estate industry.
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with data governance and data quality tools and technologies.
  • Programming skills (e.g., SQL) are often beneficial.
  • Certification in data governance or data management (e.g., DAMA, CDMP) is a plus.

Salary Range: $109,650.00 - $146,175.00

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.  Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location
