What We Do

The Product Owner acts as a Product Subject Matter Expert, accountable to identify, measure and maximize value throughout product's entire lifecycle in an Agile environment. Works with Product Managers and the business to develop the strategic vision, product roadmap, product features, release plans, and manage acceptance. Responsible for product delivery execution, collaborating with Product Managers and clients to develop and prioritize high level product capability requirements, define product vision, and partner with the Scrum Master to ensure that customer satisfaction and product goals are met. Facilitates communication and provides the product and sprint goals, timely decisions, and support for the product team’s execution through the SDLC.

  • Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships and communication as the voice of the product team
  • Contribute to product organizational change management communications
  • Provide product direction from the product’s vision and set aligned sprint goals
  • Understand and communicate relative pros and cons of various product features
  • Writes well-formed user stories for Agile product team
  • Aid product team self-sufficiency, maintain ownership of product backlog with refined and ready user stories for at least 2 sprints
  • Ownership of product quality pre and post release, ensuring client satisfaction
  • Collect product analytics and discover/ deliver product improvements identified from the data collected
  • Communicate events, identify impact, and leads resolution of product issues
  • Participate in creation and maintenance of product’s roadmap to achieve shared understanding with product team

  • Collaborate with Product Manager to define and measure the success of product changes, identify and ensure that product features and enablers support strategic business goals and create user stories and execution roadmaps to improve customer satisfaction
  • Owns iterative delivery of new product features from ideation through testing, acceptance, release, and inspection
  • Collaborate with Scrum Master, measure and communicate product team’s progress to clients and leadership
  • Recognize when product team results are not achieving Sprint goals
  • Proactively work with Scrum Master and Talent Managers to determine best plan of action for achieving future sprint goals
  • Required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-7 years directly related experience with a strong customer understanding and progressive experience working in related aspects of technology (engineering, BSA, technical project management, etc)
  • At least one Industry Certification is required: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO)
  • Understanding of and experience in Agile Scrum Principles and Methods
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to define business and technical parameters and lead team to meet business requirements
  • Knowledge of general business environment/operation and general cost benefit awareness
  • Innovative and forward thinking, decisive and action oriented while paying attention to details
  • Able to influence product leadership within an organization to drive meaningful results
  • Experience in outcome-based delivery being business and solution focused
  • Manages inter-team and cross-team discussions, endeavoring to gain all points of view, drive urgency, resolve issues, and deliver client value
  • Knowledge of solutions architecture and purpose within the overall product ecosystem

Pay Range: $109,650.00 - $146,175.00 Annually

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.  Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
