We are looking for the best-of-the-best technology experts who will envision, design, build, and deliver innovative solutions that provide exceptional experiences and lasting value to our customers. We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer who is passionate about transforming raw data into clean, well-modeled datasets that are ready for analysis. This person will write and maintain transformation code in dbt Core and PySpark to ensure data quality and consistency across the organization. In this role, you will have the chance to make a big impact and drive efficiency across our organization.What You’ll Do:
Transform Data: Convert bronze data into clean, well-modeled datasets that are ready for analysis.
Maintain Transformation Code: Write and maintain transformation code in dbt Core to ensure data quality and consistency.
Create Data Models: Develop robust data models that enable data analysts and business users to easily access and interpret data.
Ensure Data Quality: Ensure that data is reliable, well-documented, and ready to support data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate: Work with data engineers, data analysts and business users to understand their data needs and provide the necessary datasets.
What You’ll Bring:
Development Experience: 5+ years working in SQL and experience with dbt Core.
Python Development: 4+ years programming in Python and proficiency with PySpark.
Data Modeling: Strong experience in data modeling and transforming raw data into structured datasets.
Data Quality: Experience ensuring data quality and consistency across large datasets.
Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with data analysts, business users, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
Documentation: Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models and transformation processes.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ideally, you will also have experience with:
Experience with Data Lake Platforms: Experience with platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or RedShift.
Data Visualization: Experience with data visualization tools such as Domo, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Pay Range: $126,100 – $193,325 Annually
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements, and geographic location.
