What We Do

Come join our Total Rewards team as a Senior Compensation Analyst! The compensation team is responsible for executing on our pay philosophy to ensure the company can attract and retain the right talent.  We are looking for a dynamic and experienced analyst to collaborate across HR and with our managers on the design and delivery of all aspects of compensation, with significant emphasis on variable pay.  Influencing decision-makers regarding compensation-related matters for consistent, compliant, business-driven practices is critical in this role.

This is a hybrid position with two to three days per week in the Santa Ana, CA office.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct market pricing, review job duties, determine classification, review salary, bonus and total compensation to provide guidance and recommendations to HR Business Partners and business leaders.
  • Recommend corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related issues
  • Manage or participate in the merit increase and annual bonus processes, providing guidance and support to HR and managers
  • Develop and document sales and other variable incentive plans in partnership with HR, Finance and business leaders
  • Manage divisional job classification structure and market pricing
  • May assist with salary survey participation, job matching and related activities
  • Provide training and coaching to HR and management on compensation philosophy and strategy, including FLSA compliance
  • Using Workday and strong Excel skills, analyze compensation data to make and support pay recommendations

What You’ll Bring

  • Extensive knowledge of Compensation practices and principles, pay laws and regulations
  • Understanding of, and experience with, incentive compensation design and management
  • Experience in conducting job analysis, evaluation, and salary administration
  • Strong organizational skills and proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high quality work
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and drive insights
  • Experience partnering with business leaders and providing strategic support
  • Ability to work collaboratively across HR and with other functional teams
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, and Power Point

Typical Education  

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred

Typical Range of Experience  

  • 5-7 years compensation experience in multi-state environment, preferably in financial services and/or with public company compensation
  • Sales incentive and variable pay plan development and administration experience preferred

Pay Range: $108,350 - $143,000

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.  Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
