Prepares initial tax returns, maintains company tax records, prepares filings for tax refunds, and researches inquiries from government agencies regarding filings, compliance, and other claims. Researches methods and presents proposals to lessen tax liability through the use of laws and regulations.What You'll Do:
- Prepare and review federal, state, and foreign income tax returns and related filings including forms 5471, 8858 and 1118
- Prepare foreign tax credit and GILTI calculations
- Analyze tax accounts and reconcile to the general ledger
- Resolve tax issues and controversies through applied and directed research
- Support quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements
- Assess the business impact of tax law updates and implement appropriate process changes
- Respond to tax authority inquiries and support audits
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2-4 years of corporate tax or public accounting (tax) experience
- Strong knowledge of federal and state income tax regulations
- Experience preparing complex tax returns and supporting schedules
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- CPA or Master of Business Taxation preferred
- Experience supporting SEC or public company reporting
- Familiarity with ERP systems and tax software
