Responsible for evaluating cybersecurity, technology, and operational risks while leading complex technology and/or business-integrated audits.Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute technology risk-based audit engagements from planning to reporting. Manage technology related continuous audit testing and support external stakeholders through technology audit testing. Evaluate new technologies and their impact on technology controls and organizational risk profile
- Understanding of security monitoring activities that enable vulnerability, internal/external threat monitoring, incident management and threat intelligence activities
- Ability to work simultaneously on multiple tasks and lead team priorities and workload
- Knowledge of cloud security, containerization, API, DevOps, secure software development, application security, databases, and operating systems
- Ability to independently perform hands-on technology general controls testing across many of these areas
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and credential management
- Understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science and Robotic Process Automation
- Strong technical problem solving and data analytical skills. Manages internal audits in conformity with First American Financial Corporate policies and procedures, generally accepted auditing standards, applicable regulatory frameworks and makes suggestions to enhance the audit process
- Demonstrates ability to identify and research significant auditing and internal control issues during an audit and propose solutions, supported by quantitative analysis
- Provides clear documentation and analysis of conclusions reached
- Strong proficiency in identifying and evaluating complex business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks and related opportunities for improving automated controls
- Effectively manages technology internal audit and SOX 404 efforts with external audit to maximize external audit reliance on internal audit testing in scope for Sarbanes- Oxley 404 testing
- Demonstrates and possesses an advanced understanding of business processes, risk management, IT controls and related standards
- Possesses a strong executive presence and ability to establish and cultivate relationships with key technology, finance, accounting and operational management
- Manages and sets priorities of the daily operations of a large functional area or department
- Commitment to innovative, collaborative, and digital working style
- Strong presentation, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Hands-on work style and 'can do' attitude with a strong desire to make things happen
- Curiosity and hunger to learn
- Available for international as well as local travel up to approximately 25%
Required Qualifications: BA/BS/MS in Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field of study. Minimum 7 years of experience in performing and leading complex information technology audits, preferably financial services. CISA or equivalent certification required.
The pay range for this role is $126,100.00 - $168,125.00
This is a hybrid role from our Santa Ana, Ca office. Remote possible if outside the area.
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
