Integrates information security and risk into business and technology by leading collaborative efforts between security, IT and business stakeholders Provides advanced visibility and data-driven decision making through implementation of business intelligence and reporting mechanismsWhat You'll Do
- Work with the CISO to help develop strategic plans and objectives for the information security program.
- Keep abreast of emerging security trends, evolving threats, risks, and vulnerabilities along with the possible impacts to the company and with ways to mitigate risk as necessary.
- Plan and manage budget allocations and associated financial forecasts relating to functional areas with direct oversight
- Be a core member of the Office of the CISO’s leadership team
- Function as change agent for new or modified Information Security policies/procedures based on the evolving regulatory landscape
- Identify and assess key security risks and issues across the enterprise and be able to defend these positions to targeted audience
- Perform and maintain detailed current state assessment of risk posture impacting the enterprise
- Provide transparent reporting on the current state of IT & Information risk and control to various levels of management
- Partner with leadership to adopt innovative technologies and initiatives to promote a cohesive and unified approach to information security risk management
- Lead identification and evaluation of information security risks aligning them with broader business and technology goals
- Leverage Business Intelligence (BI) to promote data driven insights with management and operational reports
- Use quantitative and qualitative metrics to track security posture, maturity and efficiency
- Support development of information security roadmaps that align with evolving enterprise goals
- Promote a security-aware culture where security is embedded within business and technology processes
- Work with the Chief Information Security Officer relative to presentations and briefing of the Board of Directors.
What You'll Bring
Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used
- Generally requires BS Degree or higher
- Typically have 10-15 years of directly related experience
- This position would typically have a staff of IT professionals, perhaps Director/Manager levels reporting directly.
- Strong knowledge and understanding policies and standards to enable best practice and consistency across the Enterprise
Salary Range: $251,900.00 - $335,800.00
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location
