We are seeking a skilled Vulnerability Scanning Engineer to join our cybersecurity team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and analyzing vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate security risks across our organization. Your expertise will help safeguard our systems and data from potential threats.What You'll Do
Execute and manage regular vulnerability scans, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all systems and applications.
Analyze scan results to identify vulnerabilities, assess their severity, and prioritize remediation efforts.
Maintain and optimizevulnerability scan configuration settings to enhance scanning effectiveness and efficiency.
Stay updated on the latest security vulnerabilities, trends, and best practices to ensure proactive risk management.
Assist in compliance audits and ensure adherence to security policies and standards.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field(or equivalent experience).
Proven experience with Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, or similar vulnerability management tools.
Strong understanding of network security concepts, vulnerability assessment methodologies, and risk management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for reporting findings and collaborating with teams.
Relevant certifications and/or are a plus.

Salary Range: $95,400.00 - $127,100.00
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location
