What We Do

The Sales Performance Coach is responsible for assisting and supporting sales strategies for developing and implementing company-sponsored sales coaching/development, learning, and professional development activities of the organization’s Inside Sales workforce. Initiatives include skills development in the areas of product knowledge, lead management, communication and selling. Development work relates to ongoing long-term improvement of employees’ skills. Actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective methods to educate and enhance individual and team performance.

What You'll Do

  • Confers with management to identify training and development needs within the organization through employee performance analysis, appraisal, and regular consultation with manager and business leaders.
  • Executes training strategies that align with and support corporate initiatives.
  • Plans, creates, develops, and provides training, coaching and staff development programs using most effective method: classroom training, eLearning, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, workshops, etc.
  • Partners with Inside Sales Leadership and Sales Trainers to solve specific training opportunities on a one-to-one or group basis
  • Assists in evaluating internal and external resources to determine the most effective facilitation and delivery of development programs
  • Develops testing and evaluation procedures; monitors, tracks, and measures the effectiveness of Inside Sales coaching/development, including the return on investment of coaching/development
  • Supports the Talent Review and Succession Management processes
  • Handles all training administration and record-keeping including producing, managing, and organizing the coaching/development materials for Inside Sales usage; keeps coaching/development materials up to date; ensures compliance where applicable
  • Works with Inside Sales Leadership, HR Business Partners and Training to develop effective onboarding programs customized to the purpose and functional responsibilities of the position
  • Develops, monitors, and maintains a company sales library and resources that support company strategic goals, practices, and culture for internal use


What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years Sales Coaching/Development Experience with proven success record
  • Expert group facilitation and presentation experience
  • Active membership with a local ASTD chapter is a plus
  • Experience creating eLearning training is essential
  • Must demonstrate excellent leadership skills as well as strong knowledge of coaching/development concepts, adult learning theories, and current trends
  • Must be self-motivated, take the initiative to find solutions, demonstrate strong time/project management capabilities, and skilled at multi-tasking and prioritizing work deliverables
  • Excellent communications, presentation and public speaking skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Professional demeanor, excellent management, communication, interpersonal, and administrative skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite applications is required

Salary Range

$49,550 -$82,600

This hiring range is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the salary range of possible compensation at the time of the posting and is subject to change. The actual compensation offered will be determined by various factors, which may include a candidate’s education, training, experience, and geographic location.
