Escrow Assistant | Solvang, California Bring your administrative, customer service, and organizational skills to a team that is helping shape the future of residential real estate transactions. First American is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Escrow Assistant to join our collaborative, in-office team in Solvang, California. Located in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley, Solvang offers a unique small-town atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and a welcoming community - making it an exceptional place to live and work. In this role, you will support an experienced and fun escrow team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will help keep transactions moving, provide outstanding service to customers, and play an important role in helping buyers and sellers successfully reach the closing table. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with others, takes pride in delivering a great customer experience, and is looking to build a long-term career with First American. We are seeking someone who is eager to learn, contribute, grow, and become an integral part of our Solvang team.

What You’ll Do

• Support the escrow process by opening orders, entering closing statement information, preparing documents for closing, and assisting with disbursement and post-closing follow-up
• Communicate regularly with customers and internal partners throughout the escrow process
• Review and interpret agreements and instructions related to escrow closings
• Use a variety of technologies and systems to support accurate and efficient transactions
• Help deliver a seamless, professional, and positive experience for every customer
• Partner closely with the escrow team to manage priorities and keep transactions moving forward

What You’ll Bring

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software and technology
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years of escrow-related experience preferred

This position is eligible for bonus pay and/or incentives for production or other goals. This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.

Based on eligibility, First American offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO/paid sick leave and other great benefits like an employee stock purchase plan.

Monthly commissions in addition to the annual base salary pay range: $75,000 - $85,000
