Responsible for managing revenue generation and operations for multiple branch offices in a broadly defined geographic area/region where title operations and escrow transactions are conducted. Influences the development and implementation of strategic goals and ensures employee conformance to established practices and proper training of staff. May have multiple functions reporting into this role including Branch Managers, Escrow Operations, Title Operations, and / or Sales.Essential Functions
- Implements operational efficiency improvements which may include, but are not limited to, standardization of systems, quality control, safety, site selection, facility design, and customer satisfaction. Manages multiple offices and implements processes and strategies. Manage and develop all area title, escrow and support staff
- Typically, multiple Branch Managers report into this role but may have other functions as well (Escrow and Title Operations, Sales, etc); scope is on a smaller scale than the Director level.
- Planning oriented role; communicates and implements goals, objectives and work standards. Responsible for employee development, performance management and staffing levels. Role is a management function and may be used as a development opportunity for higher level management roles.
- Applies policies and procedures that comply with regulatory and statutory guidelines, rules, and standards
- Plans, organizes, administers, reviews, and evaluates the activities of professional, technical, and support staff
- Directs the selection of staff and provides for their training and professional development to maintain effective morale, productivity, and discipline
Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used
- Excellent communication skills including speaking and writing skills
- Demonstrated competency in executing strategic plans
- Ability to learn needs of a wide range of employees while driving team performance, monitoring results and appropriately allocating resources
- Experience and knowledge of functional tools and infrastructure
- Understanding of metrics/dashboards that drive an environment and culture of continuous improvement
- Progressive experience in leading employees in multiple locations, and significant experience developing and implementing solutions
- Possesses problem-solving, collaboration, critical thinking, team building, and presentation skills
- Results oriented and solution thinking with time management and project management skills
- Displays leadership skills, leading by example, driving employee commitment through actions, and empowering employees to reach their full potential
Typical Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Typical Range of Experience
- 8+ years of management/leadership experience
- 5+ years directly related experience
Pay Range: $100,000-$135,000
This position is eligible for bonus pay and/or incentives for production or other goals. This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
