Come join First American, where we recognize our true worth is our people. We are looking to add an Escrow Assistant to our growing team. In this role you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting supporting our Escrow team in a variety of ways including customer support and administrative duties. This position plays a key role in making the dream of home ownership a reality.What You’ll Do:
- Maintain client relationships to communicate approved document/data changes, updates, and various inquiries on each respective project.
- Review purchase agreements and perform quality reviews to manage/facilitate closing process
- Facilitate title search, review, and verify title search results, and perform research to clear title and provide basic solutions for curative action.
- Perform title policy premium calculation. Familiar with rate manuals and requirements as per state filed rates.
- Produce title insurance policies from template specific to each project and distribute/deliver according to client Service Level Agreements.
- Assist with post-closing activities (packaging/mailing documents, title policy production, review policy against recorded documents)
- Gathers information to resolve title issues
- Performs administrative support for title and/or escrow operations
- Update and gather information
- Facilitate customer requests and respond to inquiries, internal and external
- Routine administrative duties may include proofreading, gathering information, pulling documents, order intake, reviewing data, posting, courthouse recorder, production typing and file preparation

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Escrow-related experience preferred
Pay Range: $19.82 - $26.43 Hourly
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
