Join First American and be part of a team transforming the residential real estate experience. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, energetic Escrow Assistant to support our growing Houston, Texas office. In this fast-paced, in-office role, you’ll provide key administrative and customer support to the Escrow team - helping ensure smooth, accurate transactions and exceptional client experiences. If you thrive on organization, enjoy working with people, and take pride in helping make homeownership possible, we’d love to have you on the team.What You’ll Do
Support the escrow process from start to finish, including opening orders and preparing closing documents
Input and review closing statement details with accuracy and efficiency
Coordinate disbursements and follow-up on all escrow transactions
Communicate with clients, providing clear guidance and updates throughout the process
Interpret agreements and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant
What You Bring
Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent organization and attention to detail
A proactive, problem-solving mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related systems
A positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Education
High School diploma or equivalent required
Experience
2+ years of escrow or related experience preferred - but we’re willing to train the right candidate with the right attitude and drive
