What We Do

The People Relations Partner is responsible for providing trusted guidance, inquiry, analysis, and resolution for a variety of HR matters. This role will serve as a subject matter expert in resolving confidential matters of varying complexity including performance and employee relations issues, conducting internal investigations, facilitating offboarding activities and directing other complex HR processes. In partnership with the HR Business Partner team this role utilizes their HR expertise to provide coaching, recommendations, and trend analysis to proactively address workplace issues through interfacing with both employees and managers. This role promotes consistent best practices across the organization in fostering an inclusive work environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Counsel managers through the performance management process including written warnings and performance improvement plans, ensuring accurate and complete documentation. 
  • Conduct and analyze exit interviews to provide actionable recommendations and insight on turnover data and related trends.
  • Facilitate thorough internal investigations of varying complexity, ensuring fairness, confidentiality, and prompt response, while maintaining detailed documentation of findings and providing recommended actions to HR Business Partners and HR Leadership. 
  • Counsel employees and provide support to managers concerning work related issues by applying HR best practices and documented company policy for performance management and mitigating potential risk using judgement to promptly escalate potential concerns.
  • Provide guidance to managers on escalated questions regarding HR related policy interpretation and enforcement of HR and Company policies and procedures.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and HRBP Leadership to approach issues collaboratively and promote positive employee engagement throughout the organization.
  • Consult with managers on best practices relating to involuntary terminations and reductions in force in partnership with HR Business Partners, including coaching managers through offboarding best practices, necessary analysis, tracking, and coordination with HR Shared Services.
  • Analyze employee relations trends with Leadership and help develop proactive strategies, solutions, programs, and practices that demonstrate a robust understanding of the business objectives and dynamics.
  • Collaborate with the People Analytics team to deliver reporting for ongoing business needs.
  • Work with internal and external legal counsel and Compliance team as needed.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
  • PHR or other professional designation preferred.
  • 4 – 7 years progressive HR experience typically gained through expertise in employee relations, conducting internal investigations effectively, and interacting with employees and managers. 
  • Experience working as a team to manage and drive large scale strategic projects and initiatives and collaborating with HR functional groups.
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, statutes, which govern employment policies and practices.
  • The ability to multi-task, be highly organized, and demonstrate excellent time management skills to navigate change and excel in a fast-paced environment. 
  • A variety of outstanding communication skills, with the confidence to interact and engage and ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex situations.
  • The skill to work collaboratively to proactively share information; facilitate discussions and the resolution of different viewpoints, promote teamwork, and strive for best possible outcome.
  • The capability to provide advice and counsel by listening and absorbing input from others, responding based on the input, provide full expression and support of ideas, opinions and concerns and uncovering and considering all facts, issues, and behaviors involved in a situation.

Pay Range: $82,925.00 - $110,525.00 annually

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.  Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
