What We Do

The Vice President of Strategic Partnerships will lead the development and execution of high-impact partnerships that support the growth and market leadership of DataTrace. This role focuses on building, negotiating, and managing strategic relationships that expand product capabilities, data coverage, and revenue opportunities.

HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE

  • Develop and execute a strategic partnerships roadmap aligned with DataTrace’s business objectives.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships with data providers, technology partners, and strategic clients.
  • Serve as executive sponsor for key relationships, ensuring long-term alignment and performance.
  • Collaborate with Product, Technology, Sales, Legal, and Operations to integrate partner solutions and support go-to-market efforts.
  • Evaluate partnership performance, financial impact, and ROI.
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure 

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or related leadership roles.
  • Proven success negotiating complex commercial or data agreements.
  • Experience in data, analytics, technology, real estate, or financial services preferred.
  • Strong executive presence, business judgment, and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

Knowledge, SKILLS, and Abilities (KSAs)

Knowledge

  • Strategic partnership models, alliance management frameworks, and ecosystem development
  • Commercial and data licensing agreements, including revenue-sharing and usage rights
  • Data, analytics, and technology markets, with familiarity in real estate and/or financial services ecosystems
  • Go-to-market strategies and partner-enabled revenue models
  • Financial analysis concepts related to partnership ROI, P&L impact, and value creation
  • Legal and regulatory considerations related to data sharing, privacy, and contractual risk
  • Organizational dynamics and cross-functional operating models in large or matrixed environments

Skills

  • Strategic planning and roadmap development aligned to enterprise growth objectives
  • Executive-level negotiation of complex, high-value commercial and data agreements
  • Relationship management and executive sponsorship of long-term strategic partners
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Technology, Sales, Legal, and Operations teams
  • Business development and opportunity identification within partner ecosystems
  • Financial and performance analysis to assess partnership effectiveness and ROI
  • Executive communication and influence, both internally and externally
  • Decision-making and business judgment in ambiguous, high-impact situations

  • Ability to represent DataTrace with credibility and executive presence to senior external stakeholders
  • Ability to align partner strategies with internal product, technology, and go-to-market priorities
  • Ability to manage multiple complex partnerships simultaneously while maintaining performance standards
  • Ability to translate strategic objectives into executable partnership initiatives
  • Ability to anticipate market trends and identify partnership opportunities that drive competitive advantage
  • Ability to lead through influence rather than direct authority

Salary Range

$225,000 - $250,000

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors, which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location
