Join a team shaping how First American connects its people, partners, and customers through clear, authentic, and impactful communication. We’re looking for a strategic communications leader who can craft compelling narratives, drive integrated campaigns, and strengthen the company’s reputation through thoughtful engagement across all channels. You will lead communications strategies that build trust, align teams, and bring visibility to the work that moves the business forward. You’ll partner with senior executives, delivery teams, and business leaders to design and execute programs that elevate our brand for our teams, protect it during times of change, and connect our employees to our purpose.What You’ll Do
Lead large-scale communication programs that support major initiatives, leadership storytelling, and executive visibility.
Develop and deliver integrated internal communications strategies that align to business priorities and strengthen the First American brand for our teams.
Oversee proactive and reactive communications for critical issues, including crisis planning, response, and recovery.
Develop key materials such as press releases, statements, talking points, executive messaging, FAQs, and thought leadership content.
Collaborate with internal communications,leadership, and content teams to ensure consistent messaging and tone across all audiences.
Provide strategic counsel to senior leaders and act as a trusted advisor on messaging, positioning, and stakeholder engagement.
What You’ll Bring

You can translate complex topics into clear, compelling messages that resonate. You understand how great storytelling builds trust, strengthens culture, and drives business results. You combine creative thinking with operational discipline and thrive in a fast-moving environment where collaboration, clarity, and credibility matter most. You’re calm under pressure, thoughtful in a crisis, and at your best when helping leaders connect authentically with their audiences.
5+ years of experience in corporate communications, media relations, or public affairs.
Proven ability to develop and execute integrated communications strategies across multiple channels.
Deep experience managing communications and handling complex or sensitive issues.
Strong background in crisis communications, with the ability to lead response efforts and advise senior leadership.
Exceptional writing and editing skills with a sharp sense for message clarity, tone, and impact.
Skilled at building relationships and influencing across functions, levels, and geographies.
High level of business acumen and understanding of brand, reputation, and stakeholder management.
Comfortable working with senior executives, providing strategic advice, and navigating ambiguity with confidence.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
Pay Range: $126,100 - $168,125 annually
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
